The focus of the Local Physical and land Use Development Plan for site is multi‐fold. First, it is intended to build on the conceptual, legal and policy basis of COK master plan upon which to plan and develop the future development and operations of the planning area. In addition, the plan is strategic as it focuses on specific private developer led development initiatives identified as catalysts to growth of bridging the gap in the real estate market. Furthermore, the plan, in its implementation/subdivision components, addresses operational standards in terms of plot size, delivery strategies and guidelines, that will support and ease phase development of the area. Within these three dimensions of the Local Physical and land Use Development plans for the site, GIS based approach that is important in addressing a range of considerations, from policies and strategies through to operations has been applied.
